The Urban Shepherdess
In August, I am grazing sheep and goats on the greens pf South London for a period of about a week. I will then make a cheese from the resulting milk and make the claim that the cheese will taste of Streatham Common. This should be an unusual sight for the residents of South London. I believe the distance between food production and food consumption enables a psychological distance, meaning that we don't care how our food is made. I am trying to close that distance physically. I want to create visible and positive agriculture in London.
