Teleporting back in time

Jonathan Fu

We are sensory beings that are born to feel, through stimulation, internally and externally. Accessing our memories has become much easier due to our society exponentially advancing in technology; we are now able to capture and store our memory for immortality, exceeded our own longevity of life.

For most of us, we are privileged with memory and for some, lost memories have become a norm to the mind, where a virus consumes a person's identity without purpose. This meditative multi-sensorial experience tackles the challenge of people who suffer from dementia to recollect their past memories through stimulation of touch, smell and sound. In addition, this will spark and develop conversations between dementia patients and carers (professionals, family or friends) in order to create better relationships and understanding on a personal level.
